Siyakwamkela: isiXhosa with kwaVast
isiXhosa is spoken by millions of South Africans and all around Cape Town. Learning even a little opens doors: to your neighbours, your colleagues, and a deeper sense of the place you live in or visit.

Who it is for
Anyone who wants to connect in isiXhosa, from a first hello to a real conversation.
Visitors to Cape Town who want more than a tour. People who live here and want to talk with their neighbours, colleagues and friends in their language. Teams and schools who want to build connection across languages. People abroad, online, keeping a link to South Africa.
They leave with growing confidence, and tools for connection with self and others.
Classes are small, warm and practical. You speak from the first session, you learn the clicks without fear, and you get a feel for the culture the language carries.

Questions
Where
Where do classes happen?
Mostly around Observatory and the City centre, and all through the Southern Suburbs. Private sessions can be at a coffee shop, at your home or online. Each offering says where.
Do you teach online?
Yes, online classes are popular. The meeting link comes in your confirmation email.
Paying
How does the sliding scale work?
Pay what you can, based on your financial situation right now. The highest amount is the full price of the offering; the slider starts there and you can move it down. Every amount gets you the same place.
Groups
Do you work with companies and schools?
Yes: isiXhosa for staff, wellness and development packages, and sessions for schools and groups. Send us a message and we will put together a quote.
