Questions and answers
Paying
How does the sliding scale work?
Pay what you can, based on your financial situation right now. The highest amount is the full price of the offering; the slider starts there and you can move it down. Every amount gets you the same place.
What if I cannot afford even the lowest amount?
Use the "Can't afford this right now" page. Tell us which offering and what you can offer, and Themba will reply by email.
Can I get a refund?
No. Payments are not refunded. The cancellation and rescheduling policy explains what you can do instead.
Booking
Can I move a session?
A private session can be moved once, up to 24 hours before it starts. If you are ill or something serious comes up, tell us before the session and we may give you one more move. Courses and classes are not moved, but you can ask for a place in another advertised course.
Can I book for a group?
Yes. Book once, add everyone's name, email and phone, and each person picks their own amount on the sliding scale. One person pays for everyone. If you would rather pay separately, each person books their own place; we do not hold places for people who have not paid.
Where
Do you teach online?
Yes, online classes are popular. The meeting link comes in your confirmation email.
Where do classes happen?
Mostly around Observatory and the City centre, and all through the Southern Suburbs. Private sessions can be at a coffee shop, at your home or online. Each offering says where.
Groups
Do you work with companies and schools?
Yes: isiXhosa for staff, wellness and development packages, and sessions for schools and groups. Send us a message and we will put together a quote.
